Lanzarote Gold

   This was the first of Chrissys albums to be recorded and released in Lanzarote . It was recorded at earthshakermusic.com in Guime  through the summer of 2001 and released in november of that year.
The concept came from his audiences.As Chrissy Looker performs quite differently to other acts , he thrives on requests from his audience ,so , he put together a list of the most requested songs that he was asked for night after night andLanzarote Gold was put together from that list.
The album title comes from the first track....the classic eighties song "Gold" by Spandau Ballet.

   There is a great selection of ballads and more up tempo songs on this album , and is still selling well throughout Lanarote.
Chrissy adds.....This was a very special project for me as it was my first album over here , but , everybody seemed to love it both holidaymakers and the local residents were buying it too , and still (most nights) i get asked to sing "Me and Mrs Jones"  and  "Just a Gigolo" they are two of my favourites from this album.

From the Heart

  After the great success of the first album , Chrissy went back into the studio at Guime and started recording this album early in 2003.

  This was more of a challenge to Chrissy, and ,Gary Newton who again produced this album as some of the tracks were much more difficult to get across correctly.

  Chrissy says....Wow , some of these tracks were (as i originally thought) way out of my range , but ,
with the patience of a saint , and with the ears (and physique come to think of it...) of an elephant , Gary Newton again produced this quality album , again i thank you all at Earthshaker Music
This album features tracks by such artists as Roy Orbison , Michael Bolton , Randy Crawford and mixed in with a great live recording of "Johnny B Goode" from my days with "PASSION" back in London. Again the tracks featured on this album are taken from popular requests from my audiences.

SUITED & BOOTED

  The long awaited third album was recorded from mid 2005 through to 2006 and finally released in April 2006. This was a totally different concept for Chrissy , but something he was relishing.
He remembers.....Through years of singing the good old rock songs , then crossing over to the commercial songs for the solo show , ive always loved singing "the standards" as the´re known....Sinatra , Deano , Bobby Darin...Etc

   Here in Lanzarote at the time "tribute Shows" were in demand , so , Not impersonating anybody in particular i put together a "tribute to the music of the big bands" singing all the rat pack songs but also taking it a bit further such as Nat King Cole , Billy Daniels , Louis Prima.....I used to love singing this material back in london in the 90s , usually on a sunday lunchtime in the pubs and clubs.This show became very popular here (and still is) , so i decided to record part of the show as the third album , again putting Gary Newtons Skill as a producer right to the test , and again he obliged.
We also actually came up with the album title together....Gary and I both come from the East End of London and the title will be very clear to anybody from our neck of the woods......

Awite Me Son.....Wochu suited and booted for.....(tee hee)
